Matt has been apart of the St. Louis youth sports scene since 1985, when he first started playing baseball. Matt’s love for baseball gave away to a passion for football. After playing college football, Matt returned to St. Louis to volunteer as a high school football coach. Matt’s volunteer work was rewarded with a State Championship in 2004 and a lifelong desire to give back to the community. Matt helped found the St. Louis Impact in 2017 with Kyle Branamm and Sheron Rives. Matt is the general manager of St. Louis Impact.
If your son has a hitch in his swing, Kyle will find it. As one of St. Louis’ top hitting instructors, Kyle is constantly working to provide top tier instruction, while keeping players smiling. Kyle has volunteered years of his time to making sure passionate athletes can achieve their dreams, on and off the field. One of Kyle’s fondest baseball memories was in 2017, when his St. Louis Impact 10U team won the Game Seven AAA World Series. Kyle’s son Nolan has enjoyed tremendous success with the Impact family.
If you need to get your glove right, call Sheron. Sheron is one of St. Louis’ premier infield specialist coaches. Where many coaches think infield training is about hitting a ball at a player over and over again, Sheron is always working to incorporate state of the art training. Sheron used his college baseball career as a tool to perfect his training methods. When Sheron isn’t training, he is coaching his 8U and 14U teams. Sheron’s teams have enjoyed immense success throughout his years of youth baseball coaching.
Bruce is a prime example of what can be achieved through St. Louis baseball if you work hard. Bruce, a St. Louis amatuer product, was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers and won a minor league World Series title as a pitcher. Bruce now dedicates his free time to teaching St. Louis Impact pitchers what it takes to excel in baseball.
Not many youth baseball players can say a college baseball coach analyses and molds their pitching mechancis. Travis is currently the head pitching coach with the Maryville University Saints. Before joining the Saints, Travis coached baseball at De Smet and Union high schools. Travis has worked side by side with Allen Jaeger, to help develop pitchers throwing plans and arm care development. Travis has been providing youth pitching lessons for over eight years in the St. Louis area.
